About The Cloister BookShop
The Mission of the Cloister BookShop at Christ Church Grosse Pointe is to enrich and support the spiritual and educational ministries through books and other media of quality and integrity for parish members and the community. In September 2004, the Vestry approved the bookshop which is located outside the Cloister. Currently, featuring titles for the Christ Church Book Club, Adult Formation classes, Bibles, prayer books, Baptism as well as, Anglican Prayer Beads and gifts items, the Cloister Bookshop also takes special orders. Volunteers staff the bookshop Tuesdays, from 5 to 8 pm and Sundays from 10 to 11 am. Phone 313-885-4841 ext. 104 or email bookshop@christchurchgp.org Coordinator, Penny Soby
In conjunction with the Episcopal Booksellers Association (EBA) we are pleased to present a catalog of books and materials available through the Cloister BookShop. The catalog is not exhaustive and if you are looking for a specific title, or perhaps have a topic in mind for which you do not have a title, please contact us. The catalog presents a number of noteworthy new titles, Music at Christ Church, a selection of books for children and prayer books, hymnals, Bibles and "Episcopaliana." We are ready to answer questions and fill your requests for materials that will help you on your spiritual journey.
