The Christ Church DeHaven Endowment for Music

The Christ Church DeHaven Endowment for Music, established by the vestry in January of 2007, continues to receive gifts of all sizes. The vestry has consolidated recent leadership gifts to the fund with prior music gifts to reach just over $1 million of our current $4.6 million goal.

The endowment will assure continuation of our strong music program under the leadership of Director of Music and Organist, Scott Hanoian. Endowment funds will also allow Christ Church to explore expanded worship offerings and alternative music services beyond our Sunday schedule, while redeploying current music budget commitments to growing parish programs and outreach. Three lay trustees oversee the endowment (Hugo Higbie, Peggy Maycock, and Blair Osborn) along with the Rector, Senior Warden, and Treasurer.
