Gifts and Greens Sale
Shopping with a Difference
At the CCGP Annual Gifts and Greens Sale, holiday shoppers can find unusual, unique, and delightful handmade items and locally grown greens and Christmas trees. A welcome alternative to malls and big box stores, the sale features a silent auction, live holiday music, and delicious home-baked goods. Even better, Gifts and Greens shoppers can use their purchasing power to help others, because 100% of the proceeds benefit CCGP Outreach programs.
In addition, many sale items come from local artisans or fair trade organizations, allowing the money from their purchase to flow directly to small producers and thus helping to provide sustainable livelihoods. It's shopping you can feel good about.
2006 Gifts and Greens Sale proceeds went to our East side neighbors, Trudy's Loving Center and the Church of the Messiah, both located in Detroit. These organizations are deeply committed to and very effective in making communities better places.
2007 proceeds went to rebuild communities in Detroit and New Orleans through Habitat Grosse Pointe Partners for Detroit and Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana for New Orleans.
