  • CCGP Choirs Alumni Registration Form
  • 2009 Choir Trip Schedule

  • Vacation Bible School for 4 year olds to rising 4th graders will be held at CCGP on August 10-14, 2009 from 9 am–noon. The cost is $25 per child with a $75 per family max. We need volunteers, including a coordinator. Contact Rev. Lisa if you are available. Register Online by July 10.

  • Calling all Lay Weeders. We are going to have a work session for weeding of the gardens, from 8am to 10am on Thursday, July 9th. Bring your own tools. Any questions, please contact Mike Fournier 313.885.4841 ext. 109.

  • PRH 2 Day Summer Workshop - "Your Solid Growth" is a 13-hour guided discovery of your inner and outer landscapes using self-discovery tools of PRH. Come to the Pre-workshop Information Night, Tuesday, July 7 at 7-8:00 PM in the Undercroft. 1st session, Saturday, July 18, 9am - 4pm. 2nd session will be scheduled with participant input. Call Fr. Softball Calling all pitchers and batters... Softball returns to Christ Church and Grosse Pointe Memorial Church this summer. We are in need of players for games 2 & 3 on July 12th and August 9th. If you are interested in joining us for a great time please contact Jeff vonSchwarz at 313-886-5527.

Building On Faith - Blitz Build '09 Habitat for Humanity Detroit Grosse Pointe Partners. Openings exist for volunteers in construction and hospitality. Available dates are Tuesday, July 14 through Saturday, July 18. All interested Christ Church volunteers should please contact Matt Schuetze, GPPartners President, or call 313-550-6531, to reserve a fee-waived volunteer position.

Bound Together Detroit Summer Program - The Summer Program is from July 13th- August 6th serving high-risk, low income Elementary aged children of East Detroit. Bound Together Detroit is looking for volunteers age 16 and over to fill jobs such as Counselors, Chaperones on Thursday field trips, Kitchen Crew, Gym assistants etc. The camp is held at Church of The Messiah and will include field trips to the D.I.A, Science Center, and Belle Isle. This is a very rewarding and fun Ministry that is making a big difference in little ways. Contact Marta Heinen for more information.
