Bound Together East is an after school tutoring and enrichment program operated from the Church of the Messiah, Detroit, (East Grand Blvd. near Jefferson) in partnership with Christ Church Grosse Pointe. The program assists economically disadvantaged children in southeastern Detroit. Now in its 16th year, our parent organization, Bound Together, serves the community surrounding All Saints Pontiac. We are a Michigan non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Financial contributions and volunteer support are gratefully received.
Bound Together East (BTE) is under the same corporate entity as the Bound Together program in Pontiac. Bound Together Pontiac administers the Bound Together East program and all funds for BTE pass through Bound Together Pontiac. BTE is a partnership between Church of the Messiah and Christ Church, but BTE could not do its work without the oversight of Bound Together Pontiac and its board. BTE is an additional location for a very successful program to help severely at-risk children.
