Being involved in the Acolyte Corps gives participants an opportunity to participate in worship services, to connect with one another and to experience a stronger sense of service to God and the church. Foyer Groups are a fun and easy way for parishioners to gather together on a regular but informal basis for purely social reasons – to enjoy one another’s company, to strengthen bonds of community, to meet new members and just to get to know other people who share a common interest in Grace but with whom we might not otherwise interact. They provide a means to develop new friendships and deepen old ones and are a way to make our sometimes-too-large-seeming parish feel smaller and warmer. There is no agenda or plan – just casual fellowship and a refreshing meal. For more information, please contact the Rev'd Vicki Hesse, 313-885-4841, ext. 116 or email@example.com.
