Antiques, Garden & Design Show Invitation Mailing Saturday, March 28, 9:30am until we are done! In the Undercroft. Please come help us stuff envelopes and write notes. Food and beverages will be provided!

Flowering of the Cross and Easter Egg Hunt Sunday, April 5, 9:00-11:15am. Join us for the 9:00am Easter service to experience the flowering of the cross. Then, after the service, it's off to the front lawn for Easter festivities for all ages and sizes, including but not limited to the egg hunt, balloon animals, face painting, and scrumptious treats and drinks!
Summer Mission Trip Wait List Available! Trip Dates: June 28-July 3, 2015 - Pittsburgh, PA. $125/person (scholarships available). There's still an opportunity for all current 6th-12th graders and their friends to join us for this life changing experience. Information packets are available upon request. Beyond Bromance: Friendship and Growth April 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13 (5 Sessions). How do men become close? What is the importance of friendships to my growth as a man who is happy in my sense of self, in my relationships, in my activity in the world and in my spirituality? The workshop will incorporate a video, reflective writing, sharing and some role play to help you explore these questions. Consider asking a good friend to join this workshop with you! Mozart Requiem Palm Sunday, March 29 at 4:30pm. The Christ Church Choirs, Soloists, and Orchestra perform. Freewill offering.
Choral Evensong - Sundays at 4:30pm. The choirs offer sung prayers to God on behalf of the people of God. Free and open to the public. A reception follows the service.

2014-2015 Program Year Our new season of Christian Formation programming has begun with Sunday School and the Rector's Forums running from 10:10 to 11am and many additional opportunities for Christian Education, Worship, Stewardship and Outreach throughout week. Read the letter from Fr. Drew
Rector's Forums are offered on Sunday mornings, 10:10 to 11am in the Undercroft (September through May) as an opportunity to live into our commitment to the lifelong process of Christian Formation. All are welcome and encouraged to attend so that we might grow in relationship with God and one another.

The Catechumenate: Forming Disciples in Christ Wednesdays, October 1 through May 13 - 6:30pm in the Undercroft. Lead by: Fr. Drew and the Clergy of Christ Church. The Catechumenate is an intensive 26-week class for adults offering formation in the basics of Christian faith and practice in the context of the Anglican tradition. Learn More
Newcomers' Class Sundays, 10:10-11:00am Are you new to Christ Church and do you want to know more? Are you interested in joining the Christ Church community? This 3-session class, offered in the fall and spring, will provide a brief introduction to life at Christ Church. Learn More
Opportunities to Serve A welcoming opportunity! Serve as a warm and friendly presence as a Front Office Receptionist. We already have some wonderful and dedicated volunteers but there are days in the week that need to be filled. Or, do you like to cook? garden? Become a Greeter? We can find a perfect match for you. Memorials A great way to give thanks for our loved ones is to make an altar flower contribution in their name. The suggested contribution is $60. Contact Maryann DeAngelo to schedule a memorial.
Reserving Space for an Event In an effort to ensure that events are planned well in advance, and to eliminate scheduling conflicts, requests for room reservations must be received at least 21 days in advance of the event. Submitted forms are reviewed at the weekly staff meeting. You will be notified within 24 hours after a decision has been made. You can complete a "green" sheet HERE.
Pastoral Care Visits If you know of individuals that are housebound or in need of pastoral visits, please contact MaryAnn DeAngelo in the church office at 313.885.4841 ext. 107.
Alzheimer's Support Group All who are coping with the challenges of Alzheimer's disease and dementia are welcome to attend this group at any time to find comfort and practical help. The group meets every third Thursday in the Undercroft.
